Shomi is a fast display program with as little interface as possible. Just drop things on Shomi, and it will show them to you. Drop several things and it can divide your screen into tiles and show them all at once. When you've seen enough, click the mouse, and Shomi will vanish again.
Shomi works hand in glove with QuickTime - so always use the latest QuickTime version.
How do I change the way it shows things?
Just double-click Shomi and you'll see the Settings dialog box.
Those settings are specific to that particular copy, which means you can have two copies on the dektop with different names and settings. For instance, one copy might draw images tiled (all at once), and one might draw images sequentially (one after the other).
Where is the Shomi home page?
Go to <http://www.goat.demon.co.uk> and you will forwarded to the right place.
How do I give feedback/report bugs?
maf@kagi.com
How do I pay?
Shomi is $20. The payment is handled by Kagi shareware. You can pay on their website here -
<http://order.kagi.com/?ZY>
All major credit cards are accepted.
You can also pay by using the "Register Shomi" program that came as part of the package. It will let you pay by various means, through email or regular mail.
When you have registered, you will be emailed a registration code.
Just double-click Shomi, click the "Register" button, and type in the code you were mailed. Note that the email address you enter must match the one you gave to Kagi when you paid. The registration dialog will enable the "OK" button when the registration code and email address match.
